Restoration

This is another excerpt from my daily journal, it happened back in April. For whatever reason I decided to put my faith in total stranger and he didn’t let me down. I spent the remainder of the evening amazed that he didn’t drive away with my new lawn mower. I guess it’s true that people usually do have the best intentions at heart. This being the cynical world that it is, overrun with a constant stream of bad news and crisis, it can be easy to forget that good things and tiny kindnesses happen everyday.
It’s truly amazing what the day can bring. It’s even more amazing what a simple act of kindness can do.
