Morning Rituals

My cat has gotten it in her head that whenever someone enters the kitchen they’re there to give her a treat. It’s quite annoying, even more so in the mornings. Why are cats so noisy in the morning? I don’t like having conversations with people first thing in the morning let alone a cat.
