The Adventures of Bugman was one of the first comics I created when I was a kid. I made well over a hundred of these comics. My parents kept a big scrap paper box and so I would utilize the backs of old PTA and Boy Scout flyers, folding them in half and in some cases stapling them. Making comics was a passion for me at a very early age. I even remember playing comic company as a kid with my friends and family.

My favorite part of Bugman was creating the villains. The villains always tend to be the most interesting in comics as a whole because they’re the characters that get to change from issue to issue. My villains ran a broad spectrum from weird food monsters to gangsters to generic ripoffs of comic characters to just plan odd creatures. I had a lot of fun making comics as a kid and looking back at these comics I can’t help but smile. There are a lot of good memories associated with Bugman and a lot of pure imagination at work.

And for those of you wondering, my spelling has gotten a lot bedder;)
