Thanks, Gib!
This week, Derek and I have decided to do a week of thanks and I decided to start it off with a bang and thank Gib at the Laughing Ogre. The Laughing Ogre holds a very special place in my heart, not only did I spend every Wednesday of my youth there receiving my comics education, but it was also the first comic shop to ever carry one of my books. I still remember going in one Wednesday and seeing my self-published comic on the new comic shelf in between some Marvel books, it was amazing! And it would have never been possible without the kindness of Gib. I feel like many people in our local scene have a similar tale. Gib and the Ogre have helped make Columbus the comic city it is. My only hope is that this comic can in some small way show you how grateful we are for all that you’ve done for us.
