Drunken Cat Comics

This comic for a Gilmore Girls fanzine produced by Keren Katz and Jess Johnson in 2019.

Thanks to my wife, Amy, I’ve watched all of the Gilmore Girls episodes, including the Netflix movies, and enjoyed the show in general, it has a lot of fun characters. So when Keren posted about making a fanzine I jumped at the opportunity. For whatever reason, the idea of the Gilmore Girls fighting Godzilla struck me one day and it instantly became something that I had to make. I had a lot of fun morphing the characters to fit the style I chose for the story. I’m especially fond of the bit with Luke and the Popeye homage.
