How to Make Friends as an Adult

The moral of the story: it’s really hard to make friends as an adult.

I have to admit, this may be one of my favorite “How to” comics that I’ve made thus far with The Drunken Cat. When I originally conceived the comic, in my list was “Plan a bank heist,” I love that that ended up being the B-story. I’m also happy that Sober Dog has made a reappearance.

Sober Dog was a character that appeared in another Drunken Cat comic way back in the early days on this site(the first year of webcomics to be exact) titled Never Trust a Sober Dog. Since then he’s been one of those characters that I’ve always told myself I’d come back to but, until now, haven’t. I’m glad he’s finally having his day.

For whatever reason, lately I’ve been feeling the need to sink my teeth into some longer narratives than what I normally do on this site. So I’ve decided to give a serialized story a try. I don’t really know how long it’ll end up being but, I’m curious to see where the story goes. I’m going to try and have two installments a month on the Saturdays that I’m responsible for but, that may just be wishful thinking. We’ll see how it goes, I hope you enjoy it.
